Datacenter Work

I've probably spent a hundred hours in the 60 Hudson carrier hotel datacenter, from building, racking, and stacking to troubleshooting and maintenance. I've spent a lot of my time there and learned so much about datacenter equipment and operations.

I bought a pallet of decommissioned University of Washington Seattle networking equipment and resold some of it on eBay.

Home Network

My home networking setup, all housed in a Tripp Lite 42U rack: three UniFi U7 Pro access points and a UniFi Dream Machine Special Edition, powered by a USP PDU Pro, with a USW Pro Max switch connecting it all together. Upstream is Brightspeed fiber.

Smite

I created the brand and design work for a game server hosting service that never took off. That included the logo and the rest of the brand identity, the landing and pricing page designs, and the custom graphics that filled them out.

Stratus

This is an old design of our main comprehensive management panel. Unfortunately we decided not to move on with this iteration and we have started work on a newer iteration with a slightly different purpose.

Birds.host

A small hosting reseller business I ran, where we rented dedicated servers, spun up VMs on them, and sold those as VPS plans. We also resold colocation. To keep costs down, I bought DDoS-protected VMs that also sold cheap IPv4 addresses, then GRE-tunneled those addresses back to my dedicated servers. That let me hand each customer VM its own IPv4 address while still getting stateless DDoS protection from the protected VM and its upstream.

High School Games & Content

Back in high school I made Roblox and Minecraft games, servers, and content, and made money doing it. These are some of the 3D models I built in Blender, the thumbnails and promo art I made for Roblox games, and logos for Minecraft servers.
